Bio
Maria was born in the Philippines, and she grew up in Derwood, Maryland. She attended elementary school at St. Catherine Labouré in Wheaton and then graduated high school from Connelly School of the Holy Child in Potomac. Maria is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and has a nursing degree from Johns Hopkins University. Maria and her husband, Brad, have three children Penny (SRS ’26), Bradford (SRS ’30), and Desmond (SRS ’32). While she has worked in women’s health for over 15 years, Maria volunteered for LunchBunch at SRNS when her youngest entered nursery school. She joined the SRNS staff in 2021 as an aide in the 3’s class for two years. Maria is excited to be back at SRS as the 2nd Grade Aide.
